Loretto Chapel Staircase Giclee Print

Kitty Keller Designs SKU: 16937-AP 12X16

Original: Acrylic

The mysterious staircase was created by an unknown carpenter who appeared after a novena was said by the nuns.  The unknown carpenter built the staircase and just as mysteriously disappeared after its completion without receiving payment for his work.  The wood used in the staircase is not from the area and no nails were used.  The staircase has no visible means of support and is as mysterious today as when it was first completed.  Many believe it was St. Joseph himself who built the staircase for the chapel.
